My story

 

Dear All,

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.  Please dig deep and help by sponsoring all of the team online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.  It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Brain Tumour UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

I was diagnosed in August 2006 with having a benign brain tumour.  This is something which was very unexpected however it has opened my eyes to a number of things which in tail has made me the person I am today.

I am making it my personal goal to help raise awareness of this disease.  I have been in touch with www.braintumour.org.uk and have hosted a couple of websites.  I have pledged to raise at least £1000,000 in all and hope with a little help from every we can raise a total of £25,000.00 to go towards this figure for our next sponsored 10k run in July 2008.

All funds are sent directly to the charity on a weekly basis and are paid through a secure website.
