Hundreds of young people die unexpectedly of heart defects every year. CRY works to raise awareness of Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS) and campaigns for proactive screening of young people. It offers help and support to those who have suffered a loss, provides medical information, carries out Mobile Cardiac Screening and ECG Testing Programmes within local communities and contributes to medical research. My story

On the 22nd December 2004 I will be walking from Headington in Oxfordshire to Abingdon (approximately 8 miles) whilst carrying a "hod" full of bricks which contains thirteen bricks.
This is in memory of my son Max, who died from a heart condition in January 2004.
