September 2006
Its My last day!! I have been reading reviews on my course and I am beginning to realise just how hard it is going to be. A friend of mine went on the course and said a guy was trying to escape in the middle of the night by jumping over the fence and broke his leg!!
Oh no what am I getting myself into!
I have been reading many reviews and they all seem to say day 3 / 4 is the hardest and everyone feels like they are going to die and their heads are exploding! But after that it gets easier and they have a breakthrough and the pain in their body from sitting for so long disappears......
There are only 4 days left am I am now getting scared
I am not allowed : -
· To practice any yoga
· Use my mobile phone
· Sing or dance
· Listen to music
· Talk
· Eat food after midday, only a cup of tea provided at 5pm
How am I going to not stretch for 10 days???!! Also I have asked if I can meditate whilst leaning against a wall, but I am not allowed!
Please think of me!!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Any donation (however large or small) is very much appreciated.
I am raising money for Dystonia (a condition that my mum has). I am attending a meditation retreat for 10 days where i have to get up at 4am and not talk for 10 days. ( i have listed below my timetable).
Dystonia is a neurological movement disorder. It causes involuntary muscle contractions which force the affected parts of the body into abnormal movements or postures. It affects over 40,000 people in the UK. http://www.dystonia.org.uk
