Garry and I are cycling with our friends Jamie and Judy across Europe this summer. Jamie and Judy are cycling on a tandem ALL the way from Felsted to Chernobyl, Ukraine (1800 miles). Garry and I are support so we drive the car 50% of the time, and cycle 50% of the time, but with time pressure we have to turn back at the Polish/Ukrainian border so we are only ! doing 600 miles each! (Lightweights) BUT it is a very good cause and every penny will go to the children in the Revival Centre, Ukraine .
The centre is highly dependant on donations from the UK , and has helped the little boy in the picture with basic supplies and medical help. The aid we send is a combination of money (for operations and treatment for example) and consumables like soap, tootyhpaste and nappies. Any donation, no matter how small can make a dramatic differece to the quality of life of these children, and every penny gets there - there is ZERO admin costs.
