So... I've been crazy enough to enter the Flora London Marathon this year and I'm just beginning to realise what I've let myself in for as the training miles increase! No more frivolous partying at the weekends for me!
In all seriousness, I've wanted to run the London marathon for several years now and this year, I've been lucky enough to secure a place with Christopher Place, The Speech, Language and Hearing Centre for young children. The centre provides early intervention programmes for babies and children under 5, who have hearing impairment or delay in speech, language and communication.
The centre relies on support from the community as well as other funding initiatives but are finding this year tougher than before. You're money could really make a difference to support the centre and children born with speech production problems, language processing and moderate to profound hearing loss.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Christopher Place, The Speech, Language and Hearing Centre gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Race day is on Sunday 26th April and the number of training weeks are disappearing at an alarming rate...I'd be really grateful if you could help to motivate me during my training and of course on the day by sponsoring me through this site.
Thank you for your support…I’ll keep you all updated!
Lizzie
