County Durham Foundation is an independent grant making charity. Our purpose is to support community based projects that make a real difference to the quality of life for local disadvantaged people. We provide a way for individuals; companies and trusts to have their own long-term charitable funds held in their own name, to make grants to projects or individuals of their choosing. We simplify the process and use our expertise and knowledge of local community life to help donors channel support to where it is needed most.

My story

Thank you for visiting my London Marathon 2007 fundraising page. In sweltering conditions I completed the course in a modest 3 hrs 56 mins placing me 8296th out of 35,674 finishers!

I hope sincerely that you will reward my efforts. I'm giving potential donors a choice of two funds, this page is to give to the County Durham Foundation's children and young people's fund or www.justgiving.com/lloyd-cancer is available to give to Cancer Research UK.
