Why your donation matters

For 2012 we have a special project for donations. All donations will be directed to this cause, unless you specifically request otherwise.

Recently Marion Cornick was invited to go to Zambia to help support a very special school there. Zambia is a very poor country where 40% of the population is under the age of 16. The country is overwhelmed by their task of educating all children, but especially they lack expertise in the education of children with disabilities.

The challenge is to create another Loddon in Zambia, providing suitable education for the 120 children in the UTH school.

We desperately need funds to pay for fares to go to Zambia, money for much needed picture story books, and essential small ‘cause and effect’ and sensory toys.
