| My personal message: |
THE BIG ONE
Having received excellent support last year for the 10K I am looking forward to a successful run in the world's biggest marathon.
#####
UPDATE October 2007:
Training was going really well over the summer, building up distance and stamina. However, a nasty kerb at Rotherhithe decided to twist my ankle.... Ouch.
It was swollen up like a balloon and I was hobbling around on crutches for a couple of weeks. Have been doing physio for a while and getting back into training. Should be back on the road soon.
UPDATE January 2008:
Slowly recovered from the ankle injury and did some good weeks over winter building up strength stamina again.
12 weeks to go and another disaster - the left knee has decided to stop working properly. Back on the physio. Hopefully I won't have to walk the 26 miles...
UPDATE March 2008:
The knee problem was helped with some good stretching and bandaging. Had 6 weeks running in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside - a breath of fresh air compared to the Old Kent Road...!!!
Will be running in memory of Lesley Harrison a true friend to the animal kingdom.
