Many thanks for all your generous donations!

On 26th April 2009, I completed London Marathon in 2:54:09  Results
My aim was to run sub 2:50, but I failed for several reasons:

1. I was needing to pee as soon as I started, and couldn't concentrate.
2. I ran the first half of the race too slowly
3. I ran the second half of the race too slowly
4. I got stomach pains after mile 16.
5. I had a stitch after mile 20.

Excuses 1, 2 and 5 all contributed to dragging my pace down below the 4:00/km I was planning on running.

Many thanks for all the support for Gordon Shannon and Tak Tent Cancer Support Scotland.

Gordon was a very keen runner before being diagnosed with a brain tumour in February 2007. Many Scottish runners will know Gordon as shannon via fetcheveryone.com

Tak Tent Cancer Support taktent.org is based at Gartnavel Hospital, Glasgow.

On you go, good luck to both Chris and Gordon Donation by Muffy Calder on 26/01/09
