       STITCH AND BITCH LONDON'S GIANT LION
               SCARF FOR CANCER RESEARCH


Stitch and Bitch London are attempting to knit  four 50-foot (13.5m) scarves for those chilly lions in London's Trafalgar Square in honour and support of those who fight Cancer and in memory of those who have sadly been lost. That is nearly 200-foot of scarf and a whole lot of yarn!

Each of these godzilla-size, humongous scarves will be created by knitters all over the world.

People are knitting up a storm from New Hampshire to New York to New Zealand all joining in with a fantastic woolly worldwide effort. Cancer survivors are knitting, families of those who are currently fighting Cancer are knitting, even Cancer patients are knitting from their hospital beds.

Please donate whatever you can and be a part of this fabulous attempt to make a difference in the world with sticks, string and four gigantic London lions!

Each donation will automatically enter you into a FREE PRIZE DRAW to WIN ONE OF THE GIANT SCARVES or one of the fabulous runner-up prizes (see our website at www.stitchandbitchlondon.co.uk for more prize information). That means a huuuuuuuge scarf for you to wrap round your entire family, hang on the wall as a piece of kooky worldwide modern art, wear as a normal scarf if you are a particularly chilly human being, drape it about yourself with nothing underneath for that sassy catwalk look , or even ask us to turn it into a fabulous blanket for you .

The Giant Scarves will be presented to the Lions in Trafalgar Square in March. See our website for an exact date. Also see our website for the story behind the scarf and why and where people are knitting. It is a lovely event to behold.
