In July this year, I will be cycling with a group of friends from Marble Arch in London to The Arc d'Triomphe in Paris.  Most fundraisers do this ride in 3 DAYS.  We've decided that we need more of a challenge!

 

We are going to attempt to do the 260 (ish) miles in 24 HOURS.

 

I'm not just doing this for fun, though I'm sure we will gain a lot of satisfaction from our acheivement.  I am raising money to help those suffering with Cancer.  Earlier this year I lost my mum to cancer and am doing this ride in memory of her.

 

We all know people who have suffered or are still suffering from cancer.  It is indiscriminate.  MacMillan Cancer Support (http://www.macmillan.org.uk) provide much needed assistance not just to those suffering but to the friends and families of those affected.
