My story
My baby was born with a rare heart & lung condition, not detected until he was 4 weeks old. He then spent his entire life at Alder hey Childrens Hospital, with his big eyes and cheeky smile he charmed all who met him. He fought for his life every day and was beyond brave, and smiled his way through it. He lightened up everyones life and was loved by all. Ronald McDonald house enabled us to live next to the hospital, free of charge, for 6 months so we were within a 60 second walk from Lincolns ward. Without them we would not have been able to spend every day and many nights by Lincolns side. The House is funded purely from donations. It is vital other families with poorly babies are given the same chances and time with their children as we have been given.
So please dig deep and donate now, we need to smash our target and make Lincoln proud.

Ronald McDonald House provides free accommodation for parents/carers of critically ill children being treated at Alder Hey. We opened 20 years ago and have accommodated over 20,000 families in our 84 family rooms. Our running costs are £600k pa and is raised totally by voluntary contributions.
