Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I have been lucky enough to be selected to take part in the Reckitt Benckiser Global Challenge 2009. From the 29 May 2009 - 9 June 2009, we will trek in the Ladakh region of the Himalayas in Northern India.  The Global Challenge will conclude with us visiting some of Save the Children's vital work in the Ladakh region.

This is an exciting, once in a lifetime opportunity and a true challenge.  We will all be trekking at high altitudes where we will encounter very warm days and very cold nights. I am told it will rival marathon running for endurance – we will see!

I am passionately committed to Save the Children both personally and also through Reckitt Benckiser.  As a Company, we have already achieved so much for the Charity and I am very proud to be a part of thatplease consider joining us as we support the incredible work carried out by Save the Children.

100% of your donation WILL go directly to Save the Children's projects:

50% will go directly to the project we will visit in Ladakh.

50% will be split equally between Reckitt Benckiser sponsored specific Save the Children projects in Angola and Tanzania

Your sponsorship will directly help to save and improve the lives of those children who are most vulnerable and most in need. I will let you know how things go with both my training and the trek itself.

Thank you for your generosity … and wish me luck!!
