My story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Last year (with your help) in excess of £1700 was raised when I ran the Stornoway Half-marathon. Proceeds bought a World Traveller nebuliser and an All Flow spirometer with software for the Borve Medical Practice on the Isle of Lewis in memory of my dear friend Carol. Carol tragically died of an asthma attack in September of 1996.
This year , on the 23rd May, I hope to run the Stornoway Half-marathon again and I would like to raise funds for the same worthy charity. Asirus is a Scottish charity whose remit is to support asthma sufferers in remote areas of Scotland. In the event of a severe asthma attack and the deterioration of the ability to breath, every minute counts. ASIRUS's main objectives are to alleviate the suffering and distress of asthma suffers in remote and rural areas.
