This is the very first time I have put myself in to run 10K and whilst it will be a rather big challenge, I am of course trying to raise money for a very worthwhile charity - AMEND - a patient support group for those affected by rare multiple endocrine neoplasia disorders, associated familial and sporadic growth, some of which are cancerous. This is patricularly close to home as my step-sister Kate suffers from this condition which has a rather limited public awareness and by supporting AMEND I hope to raise more awareness of this support group.
