I am biting the
bullet and making a new years resolution that I'm actually going to
keep. I'm going to run 3 10k's and 1 half marathon this year and i'm going
to do it all for Childline. They are a charity that I have loved and advocated ever since I was a kid myself.
The first of the events is the Bupa Great Manchester Run. It's 10km and takes place on 16th May.
The second is another 10k in Sunderland and takes place on 18th July.
The third run is the last 10k and I'll be doing it in Sheffield on 5th September.
The half marathon takes place in Horwich on 2nd October.
You might feel it fitting that you sponsor me 4 times as much as you would sponsor someone just running once ;) but really, please give whatever you can afford. Childline is SUCH a worthy charity.
On a sidenote, once all the running is finally over, I'm going to finally get round to volunteering as a counsellor there. That's not part of my resolution though as I've attempted it twice before but have chickened out!
