My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
It's not often nowdays we can go a day without hearing the 'C word'.
People all over the world suffer from this horrible illness, some people are lucky and pull through, others unfortunately do not. Many of us don't realise just how lucky we are and how fortunate we are to live the lives we lead.
We have decided to run the Great Manchester run this year in aid of Cancer Research. All of us have been affected by this illness, and this charity is very close to our hearts, particularly one of us as Lucy lost her dad, Ian Duckworth, earlier this year to cancer of the intestine.
It is an incredibly worthwhile cause and hopefully we will be able to raise enough money between us to make a difference to someone's life out there.
Your money can make so much difference so please please please donate - we know as students it's a struggle so instead of that late night takeaway, extra shot or that new top you had your eye on, make that money go further! Please help us raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity, it WILL make a difference.
