Story
ROSY (Respite Nursing for Oxfordshire's Sick Youngsters) was set up 5 years ago to help address the desperate need locally for respite care in the home for children with complex nursing needs.
The families ROSY helps look after extremely ill children that require round the clock nursing and they do so with little or no help. ROSY now employs 6 nurses and is able to offer at least a few hours respite weekly to all of the families. It also runs a support group and counselling service both of which provide a much needed lifeline.
In order to pay the salaries of the 6 nurses ROSY needs to raise £160,000 per year, so every penny raised really does count. All the costs of running the charity are met by the committee members so your donation will go DIRECTLY to support the families.
