For those of you who don't know, I started running in April of this year after realising that after having 3 babies delivered by caesarean section in 4 years and having done no real physical excercise for 35 years - I needed to get into shape!!!  To my huge surprise I began to start to enjoy running - well at least finishing each run!

I then decided that I needed a challenge and the Middlesbrough 10k run seemed the perfect way to do this and also raise some money for a fab cause!

The Finlay Cooper Trust raises money for various wonderful children's charities in the region where I was born.  I feel very proud that I will run in Finlay Cooper's memory to raise money for the precious lives of special children.  Being a mummy of 3 babies, only 2 of them who are here with me now, I appreciate how very precious every child's life is.

If you are able to sponsor me then I would be very grateful.  I have to say I am very nervous about the run itself but I know that I will push myself to do it and will be proud to run next to my sister Vicky and good friend Joanne.
