My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

This September I am undertaking an expedition to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for children in the poorest regions of Tanzania with no access to clean water, food or education.

Mount Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain in Africa! I will be climbing 19,710ft (5895m) above sea level, that’s all the way to top of the world’s largest freestanding mountain to the roof of Africa and over 1km above the highest point in Europe, Mount Blanc which is a mere 4807m!

After climbing Mount Kilimanjaro I will be assisting with one of the ChildReach International projects in Tanzania, actively helping where your money will be making a difference- This will involve helping in schools or putting in water pumps, generally seeing first hand how your contributions are providing everything from clean water to life-saving vaccinations.

All donations, make a huge difference- so please spare a minute and change somebody’s life! £2 will pay for a mother and her children living in a remote area to attend a health camp and receive life-saving vaccinations, £50 buys books for an entire primary school!

7 epic collection days down (and alot of abuse), Sailing training days and some very generous donations mean I am passed £1500 and on my way to smashing my two grand target. Thank you to all those donations so far but for everyone else please still help, just think about those children whose life YOU can change.
