I'm lucky enough to be the vice president of a fantastic charity called SpecialEffect that via fantastic technology including eye gaze computers helps disabled children and young people play computers and communicate. The inspiration behind the charity is the legend that is Matt Hampson who was paralysed whilst playing rugby for Englad Under 21's, yet has show amazing courage to overcome his injuries and be an inspiration for so many people. Do check out the link below featuring Hambo that shows the impact SpecialEffect is having.

Next year is the 2nd Walk4Matt which is a 110 mile walk from Rugby to Twickers being backed by a host of rugby legends and ALL the premiership clubs. I hope to take part in this fantastic event , do check out www.walk4matt.org and raise money for SpecialEffect, the Matt Hampson Trust and the Rugby Players Association Benevolent Fund. As part of this in November i'm aiming to grow a great mo for hambo!!! I'll be inviting listeners to Kerrang to do the same and post their efforts on facebook and also if they wish to get sponsorship for these great causes. I also hope to try and raise £150 via people sponsoring me so if you could spare a few pounds it really would help make a massive difference.
Cheers
Luke
