On 4th April 2009, a group of amateur astronomers set out to create the world's largest ground-based lunar image mosaic. As well as being verified by Guinness World Records, the aim was to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Sir Patrick Moore's chosen charity for the event. All donors are entitled to download a quarter-size copy of the image for their personal use. Details will be included in an email following your donation.
