On 12th July 2009 I will be joining up to 40,000 other runners to run 10 K around London. This may not be a marathon but it is challenging to me - I have been running for a year and am not as young as I think I am. Anyway, I think this has to be worth shedloads of money for TOP UK...while everyone is having a long sleep-in on Sunday 12th July, bear a thought for me starting out at 8.35a.m. in Central London....don't just sympathise though, put your hand in your pocket and donate to TOP UK!! Even if the credit crunch is biting even £1 makes a difference if many people give......Many thanks!
Well Folks I've done it...not super fast but I kept on in there and ran all the way ( however tempted I was to walk a bit!!). I'll publish my official time when I get it but it appears to be approx. 70 mins so please, if you haven't already , dig deep and help me raise money...if I raise enough I may do it again next year........
