Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Please give as little or as much as you can it all helps towards my goal of £2,800, which I have to commited to give the charity. If you want to donate cash or cheque then please email me, I do have sponsor forms to complete and I will collect the funds and deposit it to the charity.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Help the Aged gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
I have decided to complete this challenging event for help the aged in 2009 as it is going to be a special and challenging year for me, I will be turning 50 ! Yes half a century. I know most of you will be shocked at this ha ha,
sounds old as i only feel 18 inside, especially on a Friday night out with the girls.
The trek is going to be a great challenge
as we have to complete 10 to 15 kms a day for 8 days in challenging terrain. I have never walked 10 km previously, so some serious training is going to have be undertaken, it’s not going to be a holiday or walk in the park. (Please check out the itinerary and see what the trek entails on help the aged website http://www.helptheaged.org.uk
Always remember It is inevitable that we are all going to get old one day and if we are alone a simple visit from someone could change your whole day, the work that help the aged carry out is vital and can makes a big difference in alot of peoples lives. By taking part, the money raised will help us ensure a future where older people are free from the disadvantages of poverty, isolation and neglect, so they can live with dignity and respect as valued members of society.
Thank you for all your help, I will need it.
Please sponsor me now!
