M-Bit is taking place on Thursday 24th February and we have chosen to support Action Duchenne. Tony from Eurosimms little boy Joey has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy & Tony is a voluntary trustee of Action Duchenne. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a devastating terminal muscle wasting disease. Imagine being told that your beautiful little boy will be in a wheelchair by the time his is 9, then gradually use the use of ALL his major muscles.. Imagine being told that he will be lucky to live past his late teens. This is the sudden heartbreaking reality faced by parents with a child diagnosed with Duchenne. There is currently no cure or active treatment but there is HOPE. 100% of the money donated via this page will go towards active research projects on existing drugs through Pilot Trials Now which could have an immediate benefit for Joey and everybody living with Duchenne.
