About our charity: The National Deaf Children's Society The National Deaf Children's Society
NDCS is the national charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people. We represent the interests and campaign for the rights of all deaf children and young people from birth to independence. NDCS believes that the family is the most important influence on a deaf child's development. NDCS supports the deaf child through the family as well as directly supporting deaf children and young people themselves.

Our personal message:

Please support our NEW 100,000m World Record online.

It's the most efficient way for us to raise funds for the NDCS. If you are a UK taxpayer your donation will be increased by almost a third at no cost to you.

The MAD Team 100,000m relay took place at Marriott St. Pierre Golf & Country Club, Chepstow on the 11th January 2004 in the presence of 1992 Olympic Champion Jonny Searle.

We SMASHED the World Record by over 5 mins!!!!!

The new Record is: 4hr 12mins 46.7 sec.

It was an incredible feat to watch. Even Jonny Searle said not even the fastest Olympic Rowers could sustain THAT sort of pace for 100,000m.
