Dear Friends, Family, Colleagues,
I have completed the Cycle Kenya Challenge 2008 and it was really, really hard! It was the hardest ride ever, which made the fact that the team did such a great job spectacular!
Giving to ICT has always meant giving to a good cause, but it just keeps getting better! In 2006/07, we were able to more than double the amount of funding we sent to the programmes we support with displaced children Africa and Asia. The beauty of the donations that you guys make is that they are unrestricted, so they free us from grant dependency and almost all of the funding we raised through your contributions last year were allocated to initiating new work with new partners, so you guys are also helping us to innovate and grow! Our ability to support new projects, particularly with children who have been displaced by AIDS, in East Africa, is down to you guys!
Thank you so much to those of you have supported ICT, through me, year on year. Can you swing it again, please?! For those of you who have not given in a while- here’s another chance! And for those of you who have not yet donated or had the opportunity to do so, here’s your chance to make my day and help one of the greatest causes out there.
All those tenners will add up- I've seen it- so please give what you can- big or small- it all adds up!
Keep it personal. Keep it real.
Thanks people. You keep ME inspired.
Love,
Maggie
