As you probably know, I'm a sucker for a challenge.......I think this is going to be the toughest one yet... Mt KILIMANJARO!! Africa's highest mountain- towering at nearly 20,000 feet -6,000 metres....... As well as enriching my own experience by taking on these tough challenges I know that I am also helping to raise money for one of the most worthy causes I know. Scope(formerly the Spastic's society) not only raises money for disabled adults & children but does an amazing job raising awareness for all people with disabilities. Scope enables positive change in our society providing information & funds in the workplace & homes & an amazing support network for people & families with cerebral palsy. YOUR MONEY WILL BE USED IN A VERY VALUABLE WAY...........I'm not kidding myself that this is going to be an easy trek. I have trekked in high altitude in the Andes in Peru but Kilimanjaro is going to be the highest I've ever been in my life! YIKES!!! I know what to expect & IT'S NOT EASY!!!!
