So, last year we tried to make our friend Paul walk again, but it didn't quite work. Undeterred, we're trying again (apparently you need quite a lot of money to make paralysed people walk). I hear there's some kind of recession on, so just give whatever you can and, if you can't afford it, there's no guilt trip (apart from the fact you might stop Paul ever walking again, obviously).
It's another 5k in Heaton Park. I'll be trying to equal or beat my second place (out of the girls) from last year, whilst kicking as many of the boys arses as possible at the same time. It's also going to be colder thatn last year (if that makes you any more likely to sponsor) as it's in October rather than summer for some crazy reason.
