I'm running to raise funds for and awareness of Bone Cancer Research Trust and primary bone cancer. Primary bone cancer kills teenagers and young adults - and killed my son Martin when he was aged 17. Life expectancy has not improved for people with this cancer for over 25 years. There's a massive need for research and increased awareness. BCRT is working in both these areas. Val and I have been involved with the charity for the last 8 years and we know that it is a cause well worth supporting.
