DCRO provides the police with a voluntary underground search and rescue service. Almost all DCRO's search and/or rescue operations take place in the limestone areas of the Peak District. Occasionally help is given to police forces outside Derbyshire.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On the 5th of June I will be setting off from Lands End heading for John O'groats hoping to complete the distance of 876 miles in 10 days, finnishing at John O'groats on Sunday 14th June. Most people who know me know that I am a member of the Derbyshire Caving Club working in the old copper mines at  Alderley Edge in Cheshire. Hence one of the charities I'm supporting is the DCRO. a great bunch of guys who work voluntarily providing a search and rescue service underground.
