I'm raising money for the Mando Group Foundation which is part of the Community Foundation for Liverpool (Registered Charity No: 1068887 http://www.cfmerseyside.org.uk whose aims are as follows:

The Community Foundation provides grants to local voluntary and community groups to help them build a stronger Merseyside and tackle modern social issues. Each year we distribute over £5 million in grants to nearly 1,000 community projects on behalf of around 60 partners and donors. Grants are linked to various themes such as the environment, health and tackling anti-social behaviour.

UPDATE:

The Mando Group Foundation will also be donating money to Disasters Emergency Committee which is raising money for the victims of the recent tragedy in Haiti.

In order to raise money for these charities I have been in contact with Everton Football Club and have managed to secure a 2009 /2010 home shirt signed by the 1st team squad, in exchange for a donation to their own charity which helps to motivate and inspire young people within the local community. I intend to use this shirt as the prize in a raffle.

In order to be in with a chance of winning this shirt, I'm asking that you donate any amount, no matter how big or small to this charity via this justgiving page, and you will be given one chance to win the shirt. To clarify, it is NOT an auction, simply a donation of whatever amount puts you in with ONE chance of winning it!

These shirts auction for £250-£300 when they are offered on the official club website so it will make a great collectors item for an Everton fan or a football fan in general.

Many thanks once again for reading this and i hope you will help me out. I aim to raise at least £200 but if I manage to get more then that is fantastic.

The deadline for this is March 31st 2010.
