Amazing experience of 6h 24min (38min swim, 3h35 ride and 1h57 run), you swim with the fish, you ride in the mountain and run in the Formula 1 Monaco track...
About pain? I guess less than someone who does not have safe water... so thank you very much for all of you...
The Charity organisation is really impressed by your support... you can find them on facebook.

Hi Guys
On September 6, despite being old, fat and bald!, I am taking part in an Ironman Triathlon 70.3 for charity. This is made up of a 1.3 mile (1.9km) swim, followed by 56 miles (90km) of cycling and as if that wasn’t enough it is topped off with a 13.1 mile (21 km) run! I am hoping to complete this challenge (and it is quite a challenge!) in approximately 6 hours.
The charity that will benefit from my suffering is WFK (water for kids) who work to provide children in poverty stricken parts of the world with clean water. They have provided clean water in Peru , Tanzania , India and The Gambia, this has improved peoples' health and well-being and has saved many lives. They are currently working on projects in Uganda , Zambia and Kenya and your donation will go towards supporting their work. http://waterforkids.org.uk/index.htm
I appreciate that it is a difficult time for many people now but any donation you can give will go towards providing children with something we take for granted, clean safe water, so please give whatever you can as it will make a huge difference to these children’s lives.
Please donate on-line or if you are incapable of using technology (this is not an excuse) or you are more Eur or USD... Please contact me and I will manage it on your behalf.
As incentive, I promise to publish pictures of me looking fat and miserable (possibly dressed in lycra!) taking part in the event...
Regards,
Marco Paonessa
