Me and Hollie are lining up for 5 hours of pain come April. Yep, we've only gone and entered the London Marathon (and said goodbye to our social lives for most of the winter months!) But there's a reason for this insanity - we're both running for a charity close to Hollie's heart, which creates opportunities for people affected by physical disability. Hollie's sister, Emma, is severely disabled and totally dependant on the constant care provided by her mum, Maggie. That's 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year of care. And as much as they love each other, they both need a break from time to time (the Goodman women do have an uncanny knack of telling it how it is!).  Grooms-Shaftesbury can offer respite care and holidays for people such as Maggie and Emma, giving them a chance to have some "me" time.
