I finished! And in a time I'm quite proud of - 02:36:59.
I'm sore today and my knees and ankles ache from pounding round the 13 mile route but it will all be worth it if it raises some money for the Eve Appeal. Please be generous. :-)

Every year a million women worldwide are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer.
This figure is just 200,000 fewer than the number of women who are diagnosed with breast cancer, yet the breast cancer five year survival rate in the UK is 80% compared with under 35% of women who survive ovarian cancer for more than five years.
I want to stop ovarian and other gynaecological cancers from taking away people's mothers, daughters, sisters and friends before their time; The Eve Appeal is working to stop this so they have my full support!
The last time I signed up for a half marathon I ended up with the measles and couldn't run but this time I'm hoping to at least make it to the start of the 13 miles!
