I have visited people at St Mary's Hospice,
it has a beautiful atmosphere.
I can't climb a mountain 'cos I don't like heights,
I'd get up, but never get down!
I can't trek a long way, I'd get blisters on my blisters.
No good trying to swim the channel,
been a long time since I swam a length.
No good giving up chocolate,
one or two squares a day, is not worth sponsoring.
Nor losing weight, 'cos I've lost three stone,
Any more and I'll disappear.
But I do write, record and video poetry,
