This year Barnsley Hospice has been open of 15 years and they are trying to get 1500 women walking 15 kilometers to try and raise £150,000!! A huge target but an exceptional cause so Give Us Your Money!!!! 
The Midnight Walk is back for it's third year with the previous 2 being a huge success. With it being the 15th year Birthday this year's walk is in fancy dress doing 15kilometers around the streets of Barnsley starting at Midnight. The walk begins with with a spectacular balloon release in memory of friends or loved ones on the stroke of midnight.
The hospice provides invaluable Specialist Palliative Care to the local community completely free of charge. However, this year annual running costs have increased to £1.8 million, of which 50% of clinical funding is gratefully received from the Primary Care Trust. They therefore have to rely heavily on public and corporate donations, legacies and fundraising events and income from our charity shops to raise the remaining £900,000 – that is over £17,000 a week .
