Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 2013 · 4 August 2013 ·

Imperial College London is a global top ten university with a world-class reputation in science, engineering, business and medicine. Please note: the Schistosomiasis Control Initiative is now an independent charity. Imperial College London can no longer accept donations to SCI.

Story

Update - I finished the Ride 100 on Sunday 4th August in 5 hours and 14 minutes. Going up Leith Hill around the 50 mile mark was very, very hard and obviously not helped with a lack of training during my summer holidays.

Many thanks to all of you that contributed to Just Gene Therapy.

All the best

Mark

----------------------------------------------------

Just Gene Therapy raises funds for the continuation of the gene therapy research programme for cystic fibrosis (CF) at Imperial College.

One of our colleagues in Fusion, Ela Mulcahy, is participating in the programme and she is of course keen that more funds are raised for it.

I personally like this charity as I am a scientist by training and I can see the funds going into specific research.

Ride London 100 is a 100 mile race following the course of the London Olympic road race with around 20,000 participants.

All money raised will go to the Just Gene Therapy programme at Imperial and Fusion will be matching any employee contributions
