On 27th September, Mark and Jules will be saddling up for the Cycle For Cynthia charity 50 mile bike ride. We are proud to be supporting a local charity whilst, as always, challenging ourselves physically. We are both fitness mad, as well as cycling, she has been in the gym regularly including spin cycle sessions. Mark is still playing football and running as always and is due to run the Cransley Half Marathon the week before the bike ride and a the Royal Parks Half two weeks after (plus the Run09 in Northampton sandwiched in there too).
So Mark and Jules are doing the hard physical work, you can do the easy bit and support them along the way. Any donations would be most welcome, we appreciate that money is tight at the moment but even £1 would make a difference. So dig deep for us to support this great charity!
More details on the actual event can be found online at www.cycle4cynthia.co.uk
Thanks for your support.

UPDATE - 28th September 2009
We did it! Jules and I completed the 50 mile course in just over 5 hours. It was a really enjoyable day, lovely weather and great scenery. The first 20 miles were quite tough, mainly up hill until we reached Cold Ashby. The spirit was excellent amongst fellow riders and the marshalls around the route we awesome, so friendly.
We would recommend this event to anyone (there is a 25 mile option as well) who wants to set themselves a challenge and support a good local cause. Both sets of legs are fine today as well, I'm certainly not as tired as this time last week after the Cransley half marathon.
If anoyone would still like to pledge a few pounds to the charity, you can do so online at www.justgiving.com/markandjules50miles. It would be nice to break the £100 barrier.
