Reading Half Marathon 2010 · 21 March 2010 ·

North London Hospice supports more than 3,500 people with a life-limiting illness each year in the communities of Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey. Established in 1984, we are committed to empowering our patients through our vision which is to provide the best of life, at the end of life, for everyone.

Story

Thank you for your support which will help the North London Hospice, an amazing place that looked after my dad during his last few days. I'm relieved to have completed the Reading Half Marathon in a personal best time.

The Hospice has been going since 1984, and provides free care for people living in Barnet, Enfield and Haringey at its 20-bed in-patient unit and day centre.

It costs more than £3 million a year to fund the specialist palliative care nurses, doctors, social workers and volunteers. Less than a fifth of funding comes from the NHS, so every donation counts.

There's still some way to go to my ambitious target of £2010 but there is still time to help... so please click now and make an outrageous donation!
