Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'll be cycling 312 km through Northern France next July to raise money for MAG - a charity that helps to clear land mines across the world, from Africa to Afghanistan, and from South America to Cambodia. Land mines are a real problem for ordinary people in these countries, stopping them from leading normal lives, even preventing them from growing food on their own land and back gardens. Every day, 15 people are killed or injured by a land mine explosion.
I thought it was about time to do something I've not done before and set myself a physical challenge that will hopefully help me to get fit, but also the challenge of raising money that will help people's lives.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. Thank you.
If you want to know more about the challenge itself or about the work of MAG, please feel free to e-mail me at mark.bracey@ntlworld.com.
Cheers,
Mark
