My story

 

Dear All

I hope by now you will have heard of the wonderful work being done by Help For Heroes!  Having been dragged in at the start (even before the start!) by Bryn Parry and of course his wife Emma, I decided to add a little spice to the Big Battlefield Bike ride challenge by doing the Barcelona Marathon in March 2008 (DONE: 3hrs 9Mins)followed by The London Marathon on Sunday 13 April 2008.  After the BBBR, I hope to do the Three Peaks Challenge followed by the New Forest Marathon!!! I have had the privilage of visiting Selly Oak Military Ward and Headley Court on several occasions and the work being done there is inspirational and the Servicemen and women that are being treated there are even more inspiartional and deserve our help.

I very much hope that in my small way I can raise some money to make their life in the future just a little better and you can help me do that by sponsoring this challenge.  No mater how small the donation, it all counts and will make a HUGE difference.
