About my charity : Devon Development Education Devon Development Education
Devon Development Education aims to raise awareness of global issues with schools and the community in this country. In Uganda, DDE works with schools to train children in sustainable agriculture and to improve school buildings. DDE has 3 projects to which you can donate funds. These are: The New Build Uganda, Food For Thought School Linking Programme and The Global Centre. My personal message:

On the 14th June 2008 I will be walking a grueling 20 miles through the perilous terrain of the Black Mountains in Wales. This walk is in aid of The New Build Uganda 2008 which will take place in Mubende District Uganda. This year we will be constructing teacher's housing at Kasaana Primary School and Classrooms at Kabowa Primary School. All of the money donated through this page will be spent on the building in Uganda. All UK volunteers pay 100% of their own costs.
