Thanks for visiting this gem in the corner of the internet...

Yes this is my fundraising page, yes I do expect you to give some cash, no I won't bore you with loads of details, yes it is ok if you leave feeling like a slightly better person.

Basically I'm off to India in November to help build houses for people who don't have a lot.  The charity is called Habitat For Humanity (through NABS) and they basically do what they say on the tin - help give impoverished communities a home or at least a base to build a more stable life.  We'll be knee-deep in trenches, mxing cement all day, and lifting bricks until our backs ache - a small sacrifice compared to the lifestyles of some of the local people.

Sceptics are saying that the reason I'm bricklaying is to try to look like this freak opposite, but I can assure you my intentions are all bricks and mortar based.

I'll be doing lots of activities to sponsor, but if you'd prefer to just make a general donation of any amount below that would be superb.

Donating through this Justgiving site is quick, easy and totally secure. And if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your amount.

If you're scratching your head for an amount you could sponsor me for every brick I lay (I think it'll definitely be under 50). It's a big total so please try to dig deep.

...if you're really generous I promise to write your name in the cement.

Cheers
