Hi There, thanks for taking the time to look at this event, if like me you often get asked to rasie money, I do hope you will support this cause as well as those of you who this is a first.
A few mates along with a couple of hundred strangers who are not yet friends are cycling from London to Paris over three days; someone said it was equivalent to doing three marathons in 3 days; let's hope its not too hot.
One of the guys was telling me how his young son got this illness called Perthes, that basically stopped his leg bones from growing for a few years. Its fairly rare however, really nasty if you get it. Like many small charities a small donation means a lot.
An electric wheelchair can transform a childs with Perthes life and at 2,500pounds is not out of our reach. So however small, please help make a difference.
