Hi, thank you for visiting our fundraising page. On Saturday 17th May, my wife Sarah and i will be attempting to abseil down the side of Arundel Castle in West Sussex to raise money for Help a local child. I believe it is about 350 feet down (or 106.6813 metres for those of you who work in the Data centre industry and feel an urge to convert everything) Apparently, the maximum length of rope you can get hold of is only 300 feet, so you can now sponsor us even if we fall! Help a Local child's committment is to help children and young people up to the age of 18 who experience the negative effects of poverty, abuse, neglect, homelessness, violence, crime, illness and disability I would be really grateful if you could help the cause by sponsoring us on line or at least give us some money to buy a longer rope! The picture by the way is of our children who not only are more pleasing to the eye than us, may benefit from your donations if we fail! Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Worthing Churches Homeless Projects will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support. Mark ansd Sarah
