Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

At Activity Alliance, we believe that everyone belongs in sport and physical activity. Yet, disabled people remain the least active in our society. Our strategy, We All Belong, drives meaningful change by tackling the biggest challenges disabled people face when trying to be active in sport.

Right kids:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. It's got a picture of me running on it and it's jam-packed with fun activities. *

As the result of a drunken bet, on 26th April 2009, I'll be running (or possibly crawling/rolling/hitchhiking) the London Marathon, in aid of Disability Sport Events, an excellent national charity which arranges sporting events for disabled people.

As the result of a much, much more drunken bet, to make it more interesting/unpleasant, I may be persuaded to run dressed as Daffyd out of Little Britain. If enough people but their money where their mouths are on this one, I will do this.

On the other hand, if anyone wants to prevent this from happening (as I do), they should likewise dig deep!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Disability Sport Events gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

* Sharp-eyed readers will have spotted that the only "fun activity" available on this page is donating your hard-earned cash. However, this really is fun. Really. Try it!
