What on earth am I doing? I have decided to give up any alcoholic drink for 100 days in order to raise funds for the Research Autism Charity.
Many of you that know me are thinking how on earth will Mark survive without a drink for 100 minutes, let alone 100 days, but I need an incentive and this is it.
I was told last week that my Godson, Evan, had been diagnosed with Autism. My other Godson, Adam, was also diagnosed a few years ago with Autism so it's time I started to raise some money.
I have chosen this charity as they are linked to the National Autistic Society and aid them in providing support for people with Autism and their families. I ran the Great South Run 3 years ago for Barnados so now I have come up with the next crazy idea! One that also comes with several health benefits as well I'm sure!
