Thanks to all of the generous people in Morpeth on 24th Jan - we raised a total of £150 and met and talked to some 'most excellent' people.
Thanks to the Newcastle Falcons, and staff (inparticular Alison), for the signed shirt (Tom May and Mickey Ward, keep riding them bikes - but safely though).
Thanks to all who attended and supported the recent Rock night at the Elephant (have a shufty at the pics). The Band (Attinboro's Passport) were excellent - keep an eye out for them in the future, well worth watching - and a good night was had by all, I think!. We raised a total of £700. Watch this space, there may be another!
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
Hello everyone, Tim and I would like to tell you all what an amazing day we had in Ashinton High st. Yesterday the 17th of Jan. We were very fortunate to have a newspaper aticle printed in the local press, just a few days proir to our street collection (Thanks Ian) . We had no longer just parked our bikes up and a loverly couple asked us if we were the two blokes doing the charity ride from the newspaper, themselves being keen bikers too.
This led to us having numerus conversations with loads of interesting people and there experiances with dealing with cancer. One women had been diagnosed with this terminal disease but rather than being down hearted she said that she was going to make the most of every second.
In todays economic climate, where our walworths has shut and many other shops on our local Street have been closed it was quite up lifting to be given so much support by our local community, so thankyou so very much from the both of us
Tim and Mark. Collection Tins raised £211.74
