In September this year (2008) I plan to attempt  to climb Mont Blanc which at 4807M is  the highest mountain in Western Europe, I plan to spend the summer getting fit, however the weather or altitude sickness are factors which could mean that I may not be able to summit.  I can assure you though that if I don't make it, it won't be for a lack of trying .

This year Rex Procter and Partners have decided to adopt Sue Ryder Care as their charity for the year, and being a Partner at Rex Procters I thought it appropriate to use my climb of Mont Blanc as a suitable event to raise money for Sue Ryder.

There are very few of us that will not have been affected by a friend, a colleague or a loved one who has suffered as result of Cancer, a Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis or Brain injury, this is my way of doing something to help in a small way
